Steve Heflin has been in the construction industry for over 25 years and through his two companies, Steve Heflin & Associates and Steve Heflin Architect/Builder, Inc., he designs and builds unique, custom homes in and around the San Antonio, Texas area.  He is a 1978 graduate of the University of Southern Louisiana and became a registered architect in 1982.    Steve enjoys working with and contributing to a variety of charities and organizations.   Within the construction industry, he currently serves in the following:

• President of the Greater San Antonio Builders Association (GSABA) - 2004

• Member of the Texas Association of Builders (TAB) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)

• Founding member of Building Believers,  an organization  he continues to promote and encourage and feels to be a growing and vital part of GSABA.

• Past Chairman and currently a member of the Responsible Growth Alliance (RGA), a city-wide pro-active group of construction/development related industries that have joined together to promote real estate and affordable housing

• Registered Architect and Member of the America Institute of Architects (AIA)
